Vanderbilt and England’s University of Liverpool are in their first year of a new joint seed grant program. This year the Vanderbilt–Liverpool Joint Research Seed Grant program is supporting seven Vanderbilt-Liverpool faculty teams that are pursuing innovative projects designed to grow into larger collaborations in music, health, national security and AI.
Each institution has committed to match funds for the three-year seed grant program developed by the Office of the Provost, Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Innovation, and the Curb Center.
Vanderbilt will also host a visit by a delegation from the University of Leeds in May, where the two universities will discuss ways to expand research collaborations across multiple disciplinary fields.
STUDY ABROAD
For undergraduate students, Vanderbilt has long-standing study abroad partnerships with universities across the U.K. Through Immersion Vanderbilt, an annual cohort of the Vanderbilt Choral Scholars from the Blair School of Music .
