Faculty, staff and students can now responsibly recycle eligible electronics Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. See a full list of acceptable items.Ìý
This initiative supports Vanderbilt’s commitment to sustainability and responsible technology use. During the last academic year alone, VUIT’s e-waste events collected nearly 4,000 pounds of electronic waste, resulting in:Ìý
- 5,556 pounds of greenhouse gases reducedÌý
- 114 pounds of toxic metals divertedÌý
- 634 gallons of water savedÌý
- 1,346 pounds of metal recoveredÌý
