Vanderbilt staff are ready to provide you with support and care. Below are some of the health and well-being resources available through the鈥.*

Student Care Coordination鈥赌

鈥 can be your first place to go鈥痜or help figuring out what you need and where and how to get support. Student care coordinators work with you to develop a success plan, tell you about and connect you with appropriate on- and off-campus resources, and help keep you accountable (if you want) with follow-up meetings and support.鈥疶o get started, 鈥痑nd schedule an appointment or attend a Drop-In Care Coordination session. .鈥赌

University Counseling Center鈥

TheUniversity Counseling Center鈥 for some conditions, medication management and counseling.鈥痑re a quick way to informally connect with a therapist without an appointment.The UCC also offers鈥痶hat provide supportive and affirming spaces where students can talk about their challenges and build connections.鈥赌

Center for Student Wellbeing鈥赌

Student Health Center鈥赌

罢丑别鈥鈥痗an handle the primary health care needs of eligible students. There are no office co-pays for routine visits. Whether you are sick or injured, managing a chronic health problem or working to develop a healthier lifestyle, the SHC is here to help.鈥赌

  • Parking update: Starting Aug. 1, reserved spaces for the Student Health Center will be in Lot 31 (near the Center for Student Wellbeing) and Lot 63 on 24th Avenue South. The map below shows the new parking configuration and updated walking paths to the SHC.

QPR Launch

The Student Care Network is now offering Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training. This program equips students, faculty and staff to recognize warning signs of someone in crisis and gives them the tools and confidence to help. Drop-In Services鈥赌

Drop-in services are offered by the Student Care Network and other offices across campus. These services provide a quick and convenient way to talk about your concerns, find resources to help, and connect with staff members.鈥 .

Self-Directed Tools and Telehealth鈥赌

It鈥檚 not always possible or convenient to meet with on-campus support staff. To help provide you with 听support anywhere at any time, Vanderbilt has several resources that supplement SCN services.鈥赌

  • Sign up for mental health telehealth:鈥疭chedule a visit with a therapist virtually by visiting Vanderbilt Telehealth powered by
  • Headspace mindfulness app:鈥疺anderbilt has arranged for students to have free access to Headspace鈥攁n award-winning, research-backed digital tool for mindful living. Headspace has been shown to reduce stress, improve focus and increase resilience and happiness.鈥
  • 鈥痠s a therapy database that can help students find therapy providers off campus. Students can create a free account using their Vanderbilt email address and search providers in Nashville or another state. Students can use filters to search through different factors to find their best match. Providers can also be filtered by the colleges they serve, where those listed as serving the Vanderbilt community have been invited to join by Student Care Coordination.鈥赌赌
    • To sign up,鈥, select 鈥淪tudent鈥 and use your Vanderbilt email address to create a username and password. Agree to the Terms of Use and 鈥淪ign Up.鈥 You鈥檒l receive a confirmation email, which you鈥檒l need to follow to finish the process. Then you can search the tailored directory of providers who specialize in student mental health.鈥
