Eligible undergraduate students may apply for off-campus housing during the designated registration period. Authorization is granted based on seniority through a randomized lottery, and eligibility may vary depending on available inventory. Signing a lease or making off-campus arrangements before authorization does not substitute for university approval.Ìý

There are a variety of transportation options for your commute to and from campus. In addition to walking and biking, Vanderbilt students have access to with a VU-registered . If you are interested in carpooling to campus, visit Additionally, students can use the to request rides.Ìý
Parking is primarily reserved for upper-division students. A limited number of spaces are available to sophomores on a first-come, first-served basis. Once these spaces sell out, a waiting list is created. Reserved permits are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must park in areas designated by their permit type.Ìý
