Vanderbilt welcomes ESPN College GameDay: What to know about parking on campusÌý

This weekend, Vanderbilt University is hosting for a live national broadcast from campus, with Wyatt Hall and the Peabody campus as the backdrop. It’s an exciting opportunity to showcase Vanderbilt’s people and places to a national audience, and it is the first time since 2008 that College GameDay has visited Nashville.  Ìý

To accommodate the broadcast, parking adjustments will be in place from now through Sunday, Oct. 26. Here’s what the Vanderbilt community should know. Ìý

Annual permit holders:ÌýÌý

  • Lot 95 is closed through SundayÌýÌý
  • Permit holders affected by the closure have been informed of alternate parking options, including Terrace Place, Wesley Place and Sony garages, all of which are open to annual parking permit holders through Sunday. Ìý

Daily permit holders:ÌýÌý

  • Part of Wesley Place Garage (upper level spaces 575-689) is closed through Sunday.Ìý

GameDay Walking Routes

Vanderbilt community:ÌýÌý

  • Drivers should expect increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic near Peabody College and surrounding streets throughout the week, particularly around College GameDay broadcast hours (8–11 a.m.) and kickoff. Ìý
  • Additional maps and guidance for alternate permit parking are on the ·É±ð²ú²õ¾±³Ù±ð.  Ìý
  • More information on game parking, including ADA accessible parking, shuttle and rideshare information, is on the website.Ìý
