Open Enrollment is your annual chance to select the benefits you and your family need to be prepared for anything that comes your way. All benefits-eligible employees must make an active selection during Open Enrollment for 2026 benefits coverage.Ìý
This year, Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 16, and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 31.ÌýÌý
To enroll in or waive coverage, you must log in to , make your selections within the Open Enrollment window, and save and confirm your elections. Elections are effective January 1 through December 31, 2026, and cannot be changed unless you have a .Ìý

These insurance plans pay a cash benefit directly to you which can be used to cover the cost of your medical care, pay your rent or mortgage, buy groceries, or any other needs. More information about these options will be shared in the coming weeks.Ìý

In addition to our normal in-person labs held during Open Enrollment, where you can get one-on-one help with making your elections, this year we’re hosting a Health Fair! Mark your calendars for Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and join us in the Community Room at Central Library. Meet with members of the Benefits team and representatives from our health and wellness vendors, including Lyra, Aetna, Healthcare BlueBook, Capital Rx, Delta Dental, Fidelity, EdAssist and more. You’ll have a chance to ask questions, grab free swag, enter raffles for exciting prizes and even get a flu shot!Ìý
