International Education Week, celebrating international education, will be Nov. 18–22. Each year, campuses across the U.S. mark IEW through programming and events that highlight the importance of international education and exchange. Ìý
At Vanderbilt, International Student and Scholar Services facilitates International Education Week, which has traditionally included a diverse range of events. Examples of past IEW events include:Ìý
- Foreign film screeningsÌý
- International game nightsÌý
- Language fairs and tablesÌý
- Panel discussions on global issuesÌý
- Study abroad information sessionsÌý
The event type is flexible, but each event should be related to international education, international/cultural exchange, and/or living in a global environment. Proposals submitted by student organizations are especially encouraged.ÌýÌý
Interested in submitting a proposal? Please fill out no later than Oct. 23 to be considered for this year’s International Education Week calendar. IEW 2024 is Nov. 18–22, but events that take place the week prior will also be considered for the event calendar. Ìý
